St. Patrick Catholic Church — Sunday Office Hours Queue
This policy explains what information the St. Patrick Catholic Church Sunday Office Hours digital queue ("the Program") collects and how it is used.
When you join the queue, we collect the first name you enter, optionally your mobile phone number, and the reason category you select (e.g., Sacraments, Blessings, Questions). Providing a phone number is optional — a name is all that is required to join.
We send text messages only with your explicit consent. To receive texts you must both enter your mobile number and tick a dedicated SMS consent checkbox, which is unchecked by default. Consent to receive texts is never required to join the queue or use any part of the service, and you may withdraw it at any time by replying STOP.
Message frequency: about 1 message per visit — a single notification that it is your turn. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
This information is used solely to manage your place in the line and, if you have opted in and provided a number, to send you a one-time text message when it is your turn. That is the only purpose.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information — including your mobile phone number — with any third party or affiliate, and we never use it for marketing or for any purpose unrelated to the office-hours queue. Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS are never shared with anyone for promotional or marketing purposes.
Queue entries are temporary and are cleared after each office-hours session. We do not maintain a long-term database of visitors' phone numbers.
Text messages are delivered through Twilio, and the queue runs on Google Firebase and Netlify hosting. These providers process data only to operate the Program.
