St. Patrick Catholic Church — Sunday Office Hours Queue
These terms govern the text-message (SMS) notifications sent through the St. Patrick Catholic Church Sunday Office Hours digital queue ("the Program").
During Sunday office hours, parishioners may join a digital waiting line by scanning a posted QR code and entering their first name. The Program can send a one-time text notification letting the person know when it is their turn to meet with the priest.
Text messages are optional and are never required to join the queue or use any part of the service. To receive them, you take two deliberate steps: enter your mobile number and tick a separate SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. By checking that box you agree to receive an SMS text about your place in the office-hours queue. If you leave it unchecked, you still join the line normally and simply watch the on-screen "it's your turn" alert.
You will typically receive about one message per visit — the notification that it is your turn. Message frequency depends on how the line moves.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. St. Patrick Catholic Church does not charge for these messages.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from the Program. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Opting in is always optional; you may instead keep the queue page open to receive an on-screen alert.
